I have always believed that variety is the spice of life. That's what keeps me going.
I'm a wildlife artist so I love being away from the rest of the world, deep in the African bush, surrounded by elephants, hornbills and acacias (and yes, I will continue to call them acacias, despite the ruling of the International Botanical Congress in Melbourne that Australia has acacias and Africa has wattles!). But I also love being in the midst of the action, in the heart of New York City, surrounded by busy people, cabs and more than a little lunacy!
So here is an exhibit that looks right up my city street: New York State of Mind at the Flinn Gallery in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Now, have to go, I've got a gazelle painting to finish...!
Until next time...
